Deborah Browne, 45, is a pre-school teacher at Winterville Elementary School. She is originally from Washington, D.C. and moved into Athens public housing with her son Anthony “Tony” Browne in August 2008. Browne talks about her experience living in Athens public housing and her plans to move out of public housing in the next five years.
